Settling on his name was the easiest part of this journey. The moment we said Jesse McLaughlin Meader out loud, it just clicked perfectly.
In Hebrew, Jesse translates to "gift" or "God exists." He is already a little gift from above, and we know his name will perfectly suit him.
McLaughlin is Jesse’s middle name and also his mama’s surname, a choice that carries forward our family roots into the next generation.
While we aren't having a traditional physical shower, we want our family near and far to be part of his story from the very start.

We are so incredibly grateful to have you celebrate with us from across the pond! Because our registry is on Amazon.com (USA), the standard UK Amazon app or website can sometimes make ordering a bit tricky.
To get standard US shipping options and avoid error messages, please follow these quick steps.
This tricks Amazon into unlocking standard US shipping and prices for you!
Step 1: Use a Web Browser (Not the App)
Do not click the registry link directly inside your standard phone browser, as it will try to force open your UK Amazon App and cause an error. Instead:
- Copy our registry link.
- Open a desktop computer or a mobile browser in Incognito / Private Browsing mode.
- Paste the link to open Amazon.com (the US site).
Step 2: Log In & Set Your Location to the USA
Log into your usual Amazon account (your UK email and password will work on the US site!). Before you look at the items, look at the very top-left corner of the Amazon screen:
- Click on "Deliver to USA" or the location pin icon.
- Change the delivery location by entering our US Zip Code: 91321.
Step 3: Choose the Registry Address at Checkout
Add your chosen gifts to your basket and proceed to checkout. When Amazon asks you to choose a delivery address:
- Look for the option that says "Ship to Hayley& Sam's Gift Registry Address".
- Select this option! Amazon will keep our exact home address hidden for privacy, but your gift will be routed straight to our front door.
Step 4: Pay in Pounds (GBP)
At the final payment screen, Amazon will automatically calculate the exchange rate. You can pay securely using your standard UK credit or debit card, and Amazon will give you the option to charge your card in British Pounds (GBP).
